REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS

Bentuk tunggal : myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself.
Bentuk jamak   : ourselves, yourselves, themselves.

a. Kita menggunakan Reflexive Pronouns untuk menunjuk kembali pada subjek dari kalimat itu.

contoh :
1. That desperate man killed himself.
2. The mad women burned herself.

b. Kita juga menggunakan Reflexive Pronouns untuk memberikan tekanan pada seseorang atau sesuatu yang telah disebutkan dalam kalimat itu (the emphatic use).

contoh :
1. I myself will wear that rose dress.
2. The motorcycle itself was damaged severely.

c. Jika kita menggunakan suatu Reflexive Pronouns dengan by. artinya ialah sendiri atau seorang diri atau tanpa bantuan

1. He lives by himself.
