PERSONAL PRONOUNS

A. Penggolongan Personal Pronouns

Personal Pronouns (kata ganti orang) dapat dibagi menjadi :

a. Subjective Pronouns , yaitu kata ganti yang berfungsi sebagi subjek dalam kalimat.

contoh : I, You, He, She, It, We, They

b. Objective Pronouns , yaitu kata ganti yang berfungsi sebagai objek dalam kalimat.

contoh : Me, You , Him, Her, It, Us, Them.

c. Possessive Adjectives , adalah Possessive Pronouns my, your , her, his, its, our, their, dan pemakainnya harus dengan kata benda.

contoh :

   a. This book is yours. (Possessive Pronoun).
   b. This is your book. (Possessive Adjective).

d. Possessive Pronouns , yaitu kata ganti yang berfungsi sebagai kata ganti empunya.

contoh : Mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs.

Attention :

I, you, he, she , dan it adalah bentuk tunggal.

a. Supply the correct personal pronoun for the word or words underlined.
Gantilah dengan kata ganti orang yang tepat pada kata atau kata-kata yang dicetak tebal.

contoh :
We go together with Amir.
we go together with him.

1. Amat wants to buy an english book.
2. Mr. Yusuf watches at the students.
3. Mary plays tennis with Rini.
4. He is writing a letter to Mary.
5. She meets Diana and Fergie everyday.
